We use a high concentration of perfume oils, meaning the scent stays on your clothes for a long time and gives you a noticeable presence. You do not need to spray it often. The performance can change slightly depending on the weather, but Hévora scents are always made to last and project well so people around you can enjoy the beautiful fragrance.

1. Store the perfume in a dark place

Keep the perfume bottle away from direct sunlight. A drawer, cupboard, or any dark, cool space works best. Sunlight can affect the fragrance composition.

2. Keep it at a stable, cool temperature

Ideal temperature: between 15°C to 20°C. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in very humid areas like bathrooms.

3. Shake the bottle gently

Some perfume users shake the bottle gently every few days to help the oils mix, but this step is optional. Avoid aggressive shaking.

4. Let it rest for at least 2–3 weeks

During this time, the fragrance notes will bond and settle properly. Some people even wait up to 4–6 weeks for stronger, more refined results.

5. Don’t open the bottle frequently

Try not to spray or open the cap during maceration. Exposure to air can slow down the process or change the scent slightly.

6. Check the color and smell

Over time, you may notice a slight deepening in color and a more well-rounded, stronger scent. That means the maceration is working!

7. After maceration, enjoy a smoother and longer-lasting scent

Once macerated, your perfume will smell closer to the original and last longer on your skin.
